From the 16th to 17th centuries, it served as the trading hub of the Nguyen Dynasty, attracting thousands of Japanese merchants. As Japan adopted its isolation policy, Chinese immigrants became the dominant group. The town’s architecture retains strong influences from southern China. Stroll along the historic streets lined with ancient houses, assembly halls, temples, markets, and piers. The tour is highlighted by a visit to this well-preserved 17th-century town, which remains vibrant with mixed cultural heritage. Hoi An is often compared to Lijiang in Yunnan, China, for its old-world charm and laid-back atmosphere. In 1999, it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

🌞 DAY 2 | Hoi An – Coconut Forest Eco Tour – Marble Mountains (two-way elevator included) - My Khe Beach - Son Tra Peninsula – Linh Ung Pagoda ☕ Son Tra Marina
🌴 Cam Nam Island Cam Nam Island lies across the river from Hoi An. A 30-minute boat ride from Hoi An Wharf takes you along the Thu Bon River, which originates at the Laos-Vietnam border and flows across the country. The riverside scenery is picturesque. While the Hoi An side is bustling with shops, Cam Nam Island remains largely undeveloped, offering a glimpse of its pristine natural ecosystem. The island is covered with nipa palm groves and betel nut trees. Most of the locals make their living through fishing and wood carving. Join us as we ride in traditional basket boats, gliding through the untouched natural landscape and enjoying a fun crab fishing experience amidst the serene mangrove scenery.
⛰Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) — a cluster of five limestone and marble hills representing the five natural elements. Each mountain holds ancient pagodas, mysterious caves, and panoramic viewpoints. Visitors can explore Thuy Son, the largest and most beautiful peak, accessible via elevator or stone steps. Inside the caves, Buddha statues and altars create a peaceful, spiritual atmosphere. It’s a perfect blend of nature, culture, and sacred beauty unique to Da Nang.
⛵The Son Tra Peninsula is located about 10 km northeast of Da Nang city center. It is a precious nature reserve with a rich ecosystem of both forests and marine life. Rising over 600 meters above sea level, this is where lush primeval forests blend harmoniously with the blue ocean. The area features many famous landmarks such as Ban Co Peak — where, as the legend goes, an immortal once played chess amidst the clouds while overlooking the city — the thousand-year-old banyan tree, Obama Rock Beach, Sunlight Beach, Fairy Beach, and more. It is also home to the rare, red-shanked douc langur, known as the “Queen of Primates.”
⛰ Linh Ung Pagoda – A Spiritual Symbol Overlooking the Sea Linh Ung Pagoda is built on a mountain facing the sea, with its back against the primeval forest. It is regarded as the largest and most sacred pagoda in Da Nang. The most striking feature of the pagoda is the 67-meter-tall statue of the Goddess of Mercy (Guanyin) — the tallest in Vietnam — standing solemnly and gracefully facing the sea, symbolizing protection for fishermen and the city. The pagoda grounds are vast and tranquil, adorned with numerous Buddha statues, bonsai gardens, and long corridors, making it an ideal place for pilgrimage, spiritual reflection, and admiring the breathtaking natural scenery.
⛵ Son Tra Marina Located at the foot of Son Tra Peninsula, Son Tra Marina is a picturesque seaside destination where the blue sea meets the lush mountains. With its elegant marina, white boats, and stunning ocean views, it has become a popular spot for sightseeing, photography, and watching the sunrise. The area also offers cafés and restaurants with panoramic views, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Da Nang’s coastline. 🏖 My Khe Beach My Khe Beach — a pristine stretch of white sand and crystal-clear waters, ranked among the world’s most beautiful beaches. My Khe Beach is known as one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet, featuring crystal-clear waters, soft white sand, and gentle waves. Here, students can play on the sand, enjoy the sea view, take memorable photos, and breathe in the fresh air of Vietnam’s central coast.
